Sarah obtained her BSN at Mount Mercy College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa in 1994. She has been an Intensive Care Unit nurse for the majority of her career. She was a travel nurse for 6 years working in several states throughout the country. Sarah obtained her MSN and completed the Adult & Geriatric Nurse Practitioner/Clinical Nurse Specialist Program at San Diego State University in May 2008. She has worked at Pacific Oncology & Hematology Associates since July 2008. Sarah is a member of the American Association of Critical Care Nurses (national and local chapters), Sigma Theta Tau International Society, and the Oncology Nursing Society.
In her spare time, Sarah enjoys spending time with her friends surfing, skiing, and participating in 5-10K races and triathlons.
